Work Weekends

Volunteer group for Work Weekend

St. Joseph’s Youth Camp holds work weekends on both Memorial and Labor Day weekends!

Volunteers are needed with and without specific skills to help open the camp in May and prepare the camp for winter in September. Individuals, groups, and families are welcome!

Lodging Information: Our 10-person cabins are available for weekend rental. RV and tent space are also available.

Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or providing good old-fashioned elbow grease to sweep or clean windows are needed. Children can help by raking the grounds and helping with smaller projects. The full list of projects can be found on the registration link.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided for all the workers on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning before departure. The full menu will be available on the registration link.

Supply donations for work weekends are gladly accepted: black trash bags, kitchen cleaning items, rags, paintbrushes, nails, tools, etc. Monetary donations to support the camp and its updates are also highly appreciated and can be made here.
